Save the flower

Flower1Who didn’t have the problem yet – the bouquet of flowers has withered but a single blossom’s still looking too good to be thrown away. But what can we do with them? All alone in a vase they often look a bit lost. There’s help with two stems of Kerria japonica. I fixed them with a small raffia ribbon so that there’s a small gap of 1/2 inch left. Place the trimmed blossom between the stems and arrange it with some leaves which are probably left from your bouquet or just pick some from a bush growing in your garden. Place some dried berries and a hat of beechnuts aside and ready is your lovely decoration. In addition I gave some dark brown pebbles into the water.
