Pork sausage

WurstsalatenglFor all those too lazy for a BBQ but still fond of sitting outside having fun and a good meal. This salad being typical for the southern regions of Germany is mostly savoured with a spritzer of Riesling wine but you may also serve it with a fresh beer.
16oz of pork sausage and 9oz of Emmentaler cheese are to be cut into thin strips. Do the same with the gherkin and onions. For the dressing mix 2 fl.oz. of cooking oil with 1,5 fl.oz. of the gherkin stock and add one teaspoon of mustard, salt and pepper. Pour it over the sausage strips, stir carefully and put in the fridge for at least one hour. Serve it with a fresh french loaf or more traditionally with caraway bread and you’ll feel a little bit like in good old Germany.
