On the plates you find some lovely gingerbread trees decorated with green icing sugar. In the cups I placed some treelike folded <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bastelesel.de\/en\/weihnachtsbaumserviette\/\" target=\"_blank\">napkins<\/a>. The give away for every friend is one of my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bastelesel.de\/en\/weihnachtsduft\/\" target=\"_blank\">fabric Christmas trees<\/a> held by a cinnamon bar. Place holders are common German Froebel paper stars. I found a really fine instruction at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.craftideas.info\/html\/german_star_instructions.html\" target=\"_blank\">craftideas<\/a>. I followed step 1-24 and then cut off all remaining strips except one. This one should be shortened, folded aside and then marked with the guest&#8217;s name. A little coniferous &#8220;woodland&#8221; forms the center piece of my table. The folded trees are made of Christmas papers matching with the colors of table cloth, papernapkins and gingerbread trees. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bastelesel.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Weihnachtsbaum.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Free template<\/a> here. To leave enough space for a large cake and different cookies the only flowers are two Christmas roses in a test glass. For this purpose I dabbed the contours of my creamy stars in a dark mocca and made it twinkle by applying some golden glitter.
