That&#8217;s why today I&#8217;ll tell you how to do them. The following ingredients are needed and supposedly available in nearly every household.<\/p>\n<p>1.8oz cinnamon, 2 tbsp finely ground cloves, 1 tbsp nutmeg, about 3\/4 cup of applesauce<\/p>\n<p>Mix spices in a bowl and add applesauce step by step to obtain a firm moldable pastry. Roll it out about 1\/4&#8243; thick and cut stars, hearts or anything else with cookie cutters. Make a small hole to hang them up lateron. You can use a toothpick, a thick needle or a knitting needle. Put them on a rack and let them air dry for 3-4 days. Then you can hang them up directly or decorate them with some star-anise which is best to be fixed with hot glue.
